Breaking Cabin Fever

If you’re like me, you love the outdoors. If you live near me, you know the outdoors don’t always love you. This winter was especially bitter, and the cabin fever set in fast.

I’m determined to never be bored, but I don’t always know what to do with my free time. My boyfriend is the type to be ok with sitting at home watching TV or playing video games all weekend, knowing that we won’t be doing that every weekend. For me though, one weekend staring at a screen is a wasted one.

Don’t get me wrong, I like being home, but I currently don’t live in a house that feels like home, so I’d rather be out.

If you’re looking to cuff a hobby for the wintertime, consider taking a community college course! In only 4 weeks, you could become a notary public, or learn to knit.

Whatever you do, don’t waste your time.

Update: in light of COVID19, I know some of this post seems irrelevant. It was queued long before any of us knew what would happen. Keep it in mind for when we get back to “normal.” But for now, follow CDC guidelines & practice social distancing.
